Dora Milaje Falcon and Winter Soldier

The anticipation for the final two episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is at an all-time high, especially after a mind-blowing fourth installment. The hit Marvel series is the latest storytelling chapter of the MCU that explores the post-Blip adventures of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, with the pair dealing with a new Captain America, John Walker.

The first three episodes were filled with intriguing reveals, ranging from the introduction of the MCU's first black super soldier in the form of Isaiah Bradley all the way to Bucky's troubling past as the Winter Soldier. On top of that, the series also spent time tackling the personal life of Sam as well as the mystery behind Sharon Carter's new “career” in Madripoor.

It's no secret that the show has a fair amount of characters, but many would agree that the inclusion of Black Panther 's Ayo at the tail-end of the third episode was surprising.

Now, a new promotional poster has been released for the series to showcase the character's arrival.

Marvel Studios has officially released a new poster for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier , highlighting Dora Milaje member Ayo played by Florence Kasumba.

Ayo joins a stunning ensemble of character posters for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It's only fitting that a Wakandan entered the fray, considering the fact that Bucky's arc is closely tied to the African nation.

Showcasing the Dora Milaje in the Marvel series essentially helped fans understand Bucky even more since it provided more context about the character's past in Wakanda. In addition, it also offerd clues about the potential future of Bucky as the White Wolf.

It's no secret that Ayo and her fellow Dora Milaje members left an impact during their appearance, mainly due to the thrilling action combined with their intimidating presence.

With two episodes left, the recent midseason trailer established the idea that Bucky will go after the Flag Smashers while Sam will duke it out against John Walker for the Captain America mantle. Based on these plot threads, it makes narrative sense for the Dora Milaje to settle the conflict revolving Zemo.

It remains to be seen if Ayo will return in the last two episodes, but it's possible that the Dora Milaje will make an appearance to solve Zemo's disappearance. It's clear that they will stop at nothing to capture Zemo again, and it will be interesting to find out if this story beat will be resolved in this show or in the already confirmed Wakanda series from Black Panther director Ryan Coogler.

Whatever the case, the final two chapters of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are shaping up to be an exciting one.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now streaming on Disney+.
