The Batman is currently enjoying its theatrical run in most territories worldwide while also smashing box office records along the way. Still, the Robert Pattinson-led movie hopes to continue its climb to the top as it receives the green light to premiere in China on March 18, 2022, marking the first time that a comic book movie will be released in the country during the pandemic.
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman pits the World's Greatest Detective against Paul Dano's Riddler, with the movie highlighting the villain's darker and more manic side. Throughout its promotional push, a good chunk of it highlighted Riddler's sadistic puzzles while still keeping the villain's grand plan a secret.
Now, as the film heads toward China, it looks like the same brand of marketing for the Riddler has been utilized.

The Bat vs The Riddler
Paul Dano's unique performance as Riddler in The Batman gives fans a whole new take on the villain. The film heavily focuses on how the Riddler leaves clues for the Bat while also showing how he is crafting his grand plan to take down Gotham.
This latest poster gives a solid preview of Riddler's fascination with The Caped Crusader while still preserving the film's major secrets. After the film's trailer provided a glimpse of the villain's workstation, this is the first time that the location has been heavily featured in its promotional push.
It is unknown if Riddler's workstation will return at some point, but it's safe to assume that it will make a comeback, especially after the film's ending teased Edward Nygma's team-up with Barry Keoghan's Joker.
All in all, many would agree that The Batman's Riddler stands out due to Dano's sinister portrayal of the villain. Seeing a potential return in the future combined with a team-up with one of the Bat's dangerous foes presents an exciting future for the Robert Pattinson-led franchise.
The Batman is now playing in theaters worldwide.
