Over the past week, there has been a slew of set photos that have leaked from Thor: Love and Thunder, which revealed not only that there would be one more reenactment and another one of Thor's goats, but also some action involving Natalie Portman's Jane Foster.
There were also photos of Tessa Thompson seen on set, alongside Miek, who will presumably be acting as some sort of assistant. When these photos were leaked, it wasn't certain that Thompson was in costume as Valkyrie. But, new photos reveal that she most certainly was and that she's sporting a whole new attire in today's shoot.
A VALKYRIE DRESSED FOR BUSINESS
More set photos from the production of Thor: Love and Thunder have leaked, giving fans a better look at Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie riding a horse
It appears that this is the same winged-horse that Thompson's Valkyrie was seen riding in Avengers: Endgame.
Instead of being clad in armor, Valkyrie is wearing a very formal-looking and well-pressed suit with a tie.
Taika Waititi confirmed that 'Thor: Love and Thunder' only has "four weeks" left of filming while also praising the MCU movie as something that “might be the best Marvel film ever.”
Russell Crowe confirmed that he will play Zeus in 'Thor: Love and Thunder.'
Christian Bale was confirmed to be sport a bald look for 'Thor: Love and Thunder,' seemingly indicating that the actor might actually be in makeup as Gorr the God Butcher instead of CGI.
It's a rather odd and very Earthly piece of attire for Valkyrie to be wearing, especially compared to her outfits in Thor: Ragnarok. Still, it wouldn't be the first time, as she was decked out in standard seafaring clothes in Avengers: Endgame when Rocket and Banner arrived in New Asgard to speak with Thor. Valkyrie was also seen wearing very human-looking clothing, so maybe being stuck on Earth for five years has forced the Asgardians to adapt.
But, now that Valkyrie is the new King of Asgard and the leader of what is essentially its own nation like Wakanda, she might be involved in diplomatic duties on Earth that would require a human touch, at least in terms of appearance. It would also explain Miek acting as her secretary, keeping up appearances of a world leader on the human's planet.
