Spider-Man: No Way Home has now swung into theaters and the support has been unprecedented following its release due to its massive box office returns and positive reception. Directed by Jon Watts, the Tom Holland led-threequel follows the story of Peter Parker after his identity was revealed to the rest of the world by Mysterio, thus forcing him to seek the help of Doctor Strange which led the Multiverse being explored in the MCU.

The MCU movie has been the main subject of discussion among Marvel fans ever since its worldwide release. Audiences everywhere have been throwing their support for No Way Home on social media by showcasing their reactions to the film's biggest moments and reveals. The same is true for Holland's MCU co-stars who have also shared their love for the new film.

Throughout the franchise's storied history, there have been offscreen friendships and rivalries that made headlines. One of them is the ongoing feud between The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars (Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan) and Tom Holland

The comedic exchange started during the press junket for 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Mackie and Stan began making fun of Holland by joking that he was a diva on set, thus eventually launching different instances of the pair hilariously mocking the Spider-Man actor in almost every interview.

Amidst the overwhelming fandom support towards Holland's latest MCU flick, it looks like the latest chapter of the aforementioned feud has emerged online.

Sebastian Stan & Tom Holland's Beef Continues

Sebastian Stan, who plays the MCU's Bucky Barnes, sat down with Jake's Takes to talk about Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home

Stan first admitted that he still hasn't seen the film because he hasn't "been to a theater." Despite that, the MCU actor reassured that he still wants to see it because he loves "the idea that it brings back all these characters from the past" and their interactions:

"I haven't seen (Spider-Man: No Way Home) yet because I haven't been to a theater. I haven't managed to go to a theater yet, but I do want to see it because I love the idea that it brings back all these characters from the past and just seeing all of them are going to interact in that one movie."

Stan ended by hilariously throwing shade at No Way Home's leading man Tom Holland, saying that he "typically doesn't like to support" the actor:

"But I typically don't like to support Tom Holland so it's difficult. I support the films, but not him so much."

Winter Soldier vs. Spider-Man Once Again

This is the latest chapter of the friendly riff between the Marvel stars. It's worth pointing out that Sebastian Stan's latest comment is just a playful jab at Holland and is nothing worth taking seriously; it is simply a testament to the acting chops of Stan.

Based on the actor's latest remark, it's safe to assume that the ongoing bit of Stan and Mackie mocking Holland would continue even after Spider-Man: No Way Home. It will be interesting to see if the Spider-Man actor would react to the duo's comments.

It remains to be seen if Stan will watch No Way Home, but his latest praise suggests that he would at some point. Stan is also known to be sharing fun behind-the-scenes MCU videos on his social media account, meaning that it's possible that he could update fans once he's seen the MCU flick.

Back at 2019's D23 Expo, Stan and Mackie reassured fans that Holland is their favorite Spider-Man, with the Winter Soldier actor saying that "it would be weird without [Holland] in the MCU."

Although the back-and-forth between the actors may seem somewhat harsh on occasion, the comments from Stan further cements that this is a good-natured rivalry, and it is just being utilized to showcase their friendship while helping each of them to promote their respective films.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in theaters worldwide while fans can see Sebastian Stan in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+.
