Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release in theaters in just a few days, and anticipation for the MCU threequel couldn’t be higher. Because of that fact, it’s been hard for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios to keep spoilers for the movie under wraps, resulting in many elements of the movie being revealed prematurely.
With the release of No Way Home on the horizon, headlines everywhere are nothing more than real estate bought by everyone’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. As the classic saying goes, any No Way Home info is good No Way Home info.
To prove that fact, fans even know now - before the film has even hit theaters - when the Blu-ray copy of No Way Home will be available.
When Does Spider-Man: No Way Home Release on Blu-ray?
An official Amazon India listing from Sony Entertainment quoted that the Steelbook 4K UHD + Blu-ray (2-Disc) edition of Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release “around April 30, 2022.”
If accurate, this would break the trend of Tom Holland's Spider-Man movies being released on Blu-ray three months after their theatrical releases, since Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in December 2021 and this listing indicates that the Blu-ray edition won’t be available until about four-and-a-half months later at the end of April 2022.
For reference, 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home both hit theaters in July of their respective years and arrived via home media the following October.
Another Spider-Man Movie for the Collection
Although Spider-Man: No Way Home has yet to release in theaters, it’s hard to believe that the third MCU Spidey film won’t live up to the hype that it’s built up. And when it does, it’ll likely become a fan-favorite flick for many moviegoers.
Because of this, webhead fans everywhere will want to add the No Way Home Blu-ray to their ever-expanding Spider-Man collection. Since the MCU threequel releases in December 2021, it looks as though it will be available in digital format in Spring 2022.
There is the chance that this Amazon listing is nothing more than a premature placeholder for when the film will be available on physical media, but the official listing from Sony would offer the most credible answer as to when fans can expect to purchase the flick to watch at home.
So, regardless of how long the expected MCU blockbuster will stay in theaters, it looks like Tom Holland’s third Spidey movie may have no way home until April 2022.
