2022 is going to be a massive year for Marvel Studios. After last year, there’s a new bar set for the amount of content expected; though, it looks like fans shouldn’t worry. The Moon Knight trailer just blew viewers away, and the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has continued to spark countless conversations.
The sheer amount of projects is both a blessing and a curse for collectors worldwide. On the one hand, there are so many new things to add to one’s collection. On the other hand, keeping up with all of this will be next to impossible.
One of the more prestigious collectibles is Hot Toys, which are, for all intents and purposes, posable statues. The company takes a beloved superhero, or any other person, and makes a 1/6 scale, 1:1 likeness figure of the individual in question.
Now Hot Toys has revealed some of the projects that will be receiving some of their collectibles, and needless to say, fans are going to have a lot on their plates.
The Hot Toys Streak
On their official Twitter page, collectibles company Hot Toys posted a video confirming the Marvel Studios projects for which they'll be releasing series of figures for "soon."
Among the titles listed are: Moon Knight, I Am Groot, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder.
The end of their Twitter caption also teases more projects not mentioned in the video, which can be seen below.

Marvel Studios, A Collector’s Dream
The first observation to note is how I Am Groot is a part of this lineup. With Thor: Love and Thunder being the last project on the list, could fans be seeing the animated show far sooner than expected?
It’s possible, but this is far from a guarantee. She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel are both not on the list, yet at least one of those will likely air before Love and Thunder. This means that the list may not even be complete for what’s to be revealed in the next six months.
Of course, there are still projects in the back half of the year that will almost certainly all be getting at least a figure or two from the famous company, such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Many fans are having trouble getting excited about future project reveals when they’re still waiting for crucial product releases from Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Both Clint Barton and Kate Bishop have received nothing, and despite a tease to show off the villains from Spidey’s latest outing, there’s been radio silence.
No matter what, though, collectors are going to have to clear some space for the sheer amount of merchandise that will be released from this year’s projects alone.
