In a new post on Marvel's official website, Marvel Studios' Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinderding has shared a beautiful piece of artwork that pays tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. The piece includes images of Boseman receiving an honorary doctorate from Howard University, a smiling close-up, masked and unmasked photos of him suited up as Black Panther, and a panther walking along the Ancestral Plane. Ryan Meinderding has been one of Marvel’s top visual artists throughout the entire history of the MCU, and he pays such an amazing tribute here to the life of Chadwick Boseman. While Boseman was best known for portraying the King of Wakanda on screen, he has an incredible career all throughout the film industry and gained profound respect from his coworkers and peers.
Chadwick Boseman’s final appearance as Black Panther is reportedly going to be in next summer’s animated MCU Disney+ series What If...? We continue to send our deepest condolences and prayers to his family and friends, and he will he dearly missed by Marvel fans worldwide.
