One of the burning questions that Loki will need to answer is whether this variant will ultimately be redeemed by the show's finale. This is as such due to the reveal that this God of Mischief is an alternate version of the original from the Infinity Saga.

Directed by Kate Herron, Loki will take place immediately after the events of the Time Heist from Avengers: Endgame since the titular character will be captured by the timekeepers known as the Time Variance Authority. This organization is responsible for protecting the sacred timeline, but Loki's actions from Endgame will eventually lead to a partnership with them to prevent the chaos that he caused.

Owen Wilson's Mobius and Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Judge Renslayer will serve as the chief protagonists of the TVA that will inform Tom Hiddleston's Marvel anti-hero about his mistake and the necessary steps to deal with it. This means that the MCU's trickster will be involved in numerous missions to save the timeline.

Now, a special look at one of them has been teased in a new promo spot.

LOKI'S CHAOTIC PLOT TEASED

Marvel Studios officially released a brand-new promo spot for Loki, teasing more of the TVA's missions with the God of Mischief.

As the release of Loki inches closer, marketing has ramped up. This latest promo should further boost anticipation for the Disney+ series especially after showcasing the rough time of Tom Hiddleston's anti-hero during the early moments of his capture.

Mobius appears to be having fun showing Loki how the TVA works, and it seems that the organization is God of Mischief-proof to stop him from escaping (again). This makes narrative sense due to the track record of the Asgardian throughout the Infinity Saga, and there's a good chance that the TVA knows everything about that.

The TVA is a well-established organization in the pages of Marvel Comics, but its MCU version is still shrouded in mystery. While it's a given that the main goal of the TVA is to protect the timeline, it is still possible that a conspiracy lies within the inner workings of the timekeepers.

It would be fitting if Loki will be the one to find out the bad side of the TVA, thus strengthening his path to redemption during Phase 4.

Will Loki stay good or bad? Fans will find out when the Disney+ series premieres on June 9, 2021.
