We are now less than seven days away from Zack Snyder’s Justice League , and the excitement amongst fans is palpable. The promised four-hour-long epic seems to be a vastly different product than what was offered back in 2017. Not only is the film twice the length of Joss Whedon’s cut, but it also doubles as a six-part television miniseries .
It’s a massive affair, to say the least. Throughout the last year, Zack Snyder has been teasing and revealing countless new looks. One of the most recent trailers, showcasing Jared Leto’s Kinghtmare Joker , made shock waves through the internet. With so much being revealed, many are left wondering what other surprises could possibly be left.
Good thing a new TV Spot has shown us even more.
MORE SURPRISES REVEALED
A new TV Spot for Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been uploaded onto YouTube, which new footage for the upcoming DC movie.
The most notable bits of the trailer include a first look at Darkseid’s comic accurate Omega Beams, as well as what looks to be Snyder’s interpretation of the Speed Force.
A DIFFERENT TALE AWAITS
Fans are sure to be ecstatic to see Darkseid’s Omega Beams portrayed so accurately—a rarity among Snyder’s DC outings. Darkseid's Omega Beams are the character's classic attack. Once fired at a target, they are guaranteed to hit their mark. What's interesting on top of all that, is where the scene featuring Darkseid seems to take place: Atlantis. It’s a pretty safe bet to assume this action happens within the history lesson that is shown at the beginning of the film. This is a scene that has been confirmed to be in Snyder’s cut, though clearly, it would seem it has been expounded on exponentially.
As for the Speed Force, this is the first look at the entity in the DCEU. While it will never be forgotten that Snyder changed Flash’s lightning to blue for no reason at all, it is no surprise that the Speed Force is represented here by crackling blue energy. It doesn't take a genius to put together that this sequence is likely in the newly restored time-traveling sections cut from Whedon’s cut.
It is worth once again noting how much Snyder is choosing to reveal to audiences before the project’s official debut. With everything that is being shown, it’s clear that fans are about to get a very different Justice League film. But how much new content will be left by the time it hits HBO Max?
