Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Hawkeye has been airing for several weeks on the service, and fans have been loving it. The show has introduced Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop to the world as she partners with Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye to save Christmas. There’s another major character that also recently made an appearance on the show: Yelena Belova.

Florence Pugh’s Yelena was first introduced in Black Widow earlier this year. Many fans claimed she was their favorite part of the film, with the character quickly becoming an MCU staple.

Pugh’s character is set to fill the hole left by Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff and will play a significant role in future MCU storylines.

Hawkeye has been the first example of that, and now Marvel Studios has released a poster to celebrate the occasion.

Marvel Studios released a new poster for their Hawkeye Disney+ series that showcases Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova, a character first introduced in Black Widow earlier this year.

Pugh's character made her proper debut in Hawkeye's fifth episode, where she paid Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop a visit.

Yelena also made it clear that she really likes hot sauce, something it didn't seem that Kate could get on board with.

Yelena Takes Aim For Clint Barton

Yelena may have played a protagonist role in Black Widow earlier this year, but this time around, Florence Pugh’s character is more of an antagonist. She’s already tried to kill Clint Barton once and has threatened Kate Bishop with the same fate if she gets in her way again.

It's hard to blame her. In Yelena’s mind, she's hunting down the person responsible for the death of her sister. She also tries to call Barton’s character into question, which is a little ironic given how many people she’s killed herself.

The series only has one episode left, so hopefully, the former Black Widow can make things okay with Natasha Romanoff’s best friend. After all, they have bigger fish to fry: Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin is back and a bigger threat than ever before.

Hawkeye’s finale airs exclusively on Disney+ this Wednesday.
