When Disney acquired Fox, it was an exciting time for Marvel fans. This meant that the studio could finally get its hands on some of its biggest characters who had been off-limits for over a decade.

This includes groups like the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and universal threats such as Galactus and Annihilus. So much more is possible now, and the MCU could finally do some of these characters justice.

Another massive character under Marvel Studios' jurisdiction? Deadpool. The successful Merc with a Mouth was universally loved, and his first two films were highly successful.

Deadpool 3 has been announced, but no information on what the project is going to look like has been unveiled. More importantly, no one knows if any of the old cast, besides Ryan Reynolds, will be returning to their roles.

One of the breakout elements of Deadpool 2 was the introduction of the mutant Domino, played by Zazie Beetz, whose powers were luck-based––yes, luck can be a superpower.

However, will the character return in the MCU's continuation of the Deadpool series? And will Beetz get the chance to play her once again? If the actor has anything to say about it, the answer would be a firm yes.

In a conversation with Comicbook.com, actor Zazie Beetz commented on whether or not she'd want to reprise her role of Domino in the upcoming Deadpool 3.

The actor enthusiastically shared that she wants to return for sequels all the way up to the hypothetical nineteenth installment, saying that [she] would love to do a Deadpool 3, 4, 5, 7, 19," and how "[she] loves [Domino]:"

“I would love to revisit Domino... I would love to do a Deadpool 3, 4, 5, 7, 19. I’ve also wanted to be like, ‘Maybe I could just do my own origin story.’ I feel honored to have been able to depict her on screen and to have played with her, as her. I love her and so I would be more than happy to revisit her on camera. And I think I will. If Disney doesn’t make it happen, I’ll make it happen.”

Just Where Will the Dominos Fall?

This isn't the first time that Zazie Beetz has publically mentioned how she would love to reprise her role as Domino––the actor even previously pitched the idea of her character getting a solo film.

It's funny how she mentioned that "[she'll] make it happen" if Disney doesn't revisit the character or give her a solo movie as that's not something that would be anywhere within her power to do.

She's not alone, however, as many people would love to see the character again. The big factor is that it's impossible to tell who will survive the merger; Ryan Reynolds returning to the same character, potentially from the same continuity, is already a miracle as it is. It's doubtful that the supporting characters would get that same treatment.

Maybe the third outing for Wade Wilson will involve him killing off his former Fox reality in a meta fashion, similarly to his latest post-credits scenes in Deadpool 2. Though, that's likely not a situation that would jazz Beetz.

Marvel Studios' next project, Eternals, will hit theaters worldwide on November 5, 2021.
