Chloe Bennet Claims to Have No Involvement in Rumored MCU Disney+ Shows

Chloe Bennet says Marvel Studios hasn't contacted her for any future appearances on Disney+ shows.

There has been a rumor circulating for months now that Daisy Johnson, played by Chloe Bennet, would appear on the Secret Invasion related Disney+ show involving SWORD. When the Secret Warriors show was reported to be in early development, these rumors were only magnified due to the teams's appearance in Agents of SHIELD . But, finally, Chloe Bennet was directly asked about whether or not Quake and herself would be making the move to any of these streaming shows, and Bennet gave what many fans of the show would be considered a disappointing answer.

NEWS

When asked by a fan whether or not Daisy Johnson was moving to any Disney+ shows, Chloe Bennet said that she hadn't heard anything about that from anyone, besides what she's seen on Twitter.

So, it seems apparent that Marvel Studios hasn't contacted her at all for any future appearances in any of their shows in development. For fans still in denial, thinking that she's lying, she could have easily given a non-answer or simply not reply to the tweet.

WHAT THIS MEANS

Fans of Agents of SHIELD may have to face the reality that these characters and the continuity of that show may never flow into anything Marvel Studios produces. The show hasn't in the past and with producer Kevin Feige now in charge of Marvel Television, they definitely won't in the future. The simple fact is that Kevin Feige had little to no involvement with Agents of SHIELD throughout its entire run, not to mention every other Marvel Television production.

The sole exception to this is Agent Carter , in which Kevin Feige was an executive producer, unlike Agents of SHIELD, alongside Avengers: Endgame writers, Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. Additionally, Joe Russo directed the second episode, which led to them including actor James D'Arcy in Endgame as the original Jarvis.

The point that fans should take away from this is to not expect Marvel Studios to bring everything, or anything, that Marvel Television has done into the MCU, least they end up disappointed.
