For the most part, the Marvel Cinematic Universe had an uneventful 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige surprised everyone during Disney Investor Day when he delivered a stockpile of internet-stopping reveals.

In addition to the already-announced projects from San Diego Comic-Con 2019 , it was confirmed during the virtual event that the monumental franchise will introduce more heroes into the mix ,like Ironheart and the Fantastic Four, as well as giving the spotlight to other side characters like James Rhodes and Nick Fury. Given that, the next chapter of the MCU is shaping up to be a must-see.

Of course, all of this wouldn't be possible without the successful run of the MCU's Infinity Saga. The twenty-three film saga left a huge impact not just on fans, but on the entire entertainment industry. And now, an impressive MCU-themed showcase has emerged, celebrating the franchise's dominance in the last decade.

A Marvel-themed musical performance was featured in Bilibili's New Year's Eve event in China.

The brief presentation started with the Marvel Studios opening theme being played by a live orchestra. After that, it transitioned into the iconic Avengers score from Alan Silvestri, which ultimately led to a stunning reveal of six holographic statues of the original team from the 2012 blockbuster film.

Chinese logos of the three upcoming MCU films in 2021, namely Black Widow , Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings , and Eternals were featured before the conductor ended the performance by showing off the Infinity Gauntlet to the audience.

The short musical production is a fitting welcome to a brand-new era of the MCU. It's appropriate to focus the MCU-themed showcase on the six original Avengers from Phase 1 being that they are the ones who kicked off the interconnected storyline of the franchise.

The MCU might have several musical scores under their belt, but it's evident that Silvestri's score from 2012's The Avengers is the clear-cut favorite among Marvel fans. Hearing the Avengers theme being played by a live orchestra can give anyone goosebumps.

The iconic score has been present numerous times in Avengers films, and it is usually featured in scenes that offer the message of hope. Such music is particularly appropriate to ring out a chaotic 2020.

2021 will officially start a new chapter for the MCU, and fans will no doubt be excited to learn what comes next.
