Marvel Holiday Christmas Characters

As the marketing material for Marvel Studios' Hawkeye would suggest, it's the most wonderful time of the year. Indeed, the holiday season is fast approaching. And it's not just Clint Barton who's trying to get ready for Yuletide cheer. Fans the world over are surely purchasing a myriad of Marvel-themed gifts for their loved ones.

So, with that in mind, it's only timely that Marvel themselves would release a fun little gift for fans.

It's an MCU Christmas!

The official Marvel Instagram account for the UK and Ireland released a video composed of various short clips from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, spliced together in such a way that it seems like the characters are singing the classic holiday song, Deck the Halls.

The mashup features clips from 17 Marvel Studios movies, including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame.

A Seasonal Holiday Carol (Danvers)

Hopefully, this video brings a little holiday cheer to all who view it. It was especially clever the way they incorporated the Hulk's bellowing roars into the song to really give it that special Marvel touch.

Also quite cool is the fact that the video uses the pivotal "My name is Carol" scene in 2019's Captain Marvel as part of the lyrics, because it's a perfect fit, for obvious reasons.

As for Hawkeye, which is currently streaming exclusively on Disney+, fans will just need to wait and see if the Avenging Archer makes it home to his family in time for Christmas.
