The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is back into production, now filming reshoots in order to finish off the upcoming Disney+ series. It was unclear when the series would be able to return to production, with several potential timeframes emerging.
These rumors were all but dispelled, however, after videos confirmed that filming had begun once again in Atlanta. Several set videos have been taken of the production, including one that depicts U.S. Agent suited up and attacking an oncoming assailant.
Images of the two titular heroes in their outfits have been seen, previously in concept art as well as in more recent promo art. Despite this, close-up images of the lead actors in costume have yet to come out.
Sebastian Stan recently shared a photo from the production that provides a much better look, although this image originates from an earlier point in filming...

Update: Anthony Mackie has now taken to Twitter to show off a better look at his Falcon suit, with the actor posing with a cigar in-costume:
In a new Instagram post, Sebastian Stan shared a behind-the-scenes image from the production of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The caption of the image seems to suggest that it was taken back in November 2019, and depicts Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie in full costume.
This is the first full look at the lead actors themselves suited up in their new costumes. Sebastian Stan's seems to remain the same as seen in previous posters and promo art from D23. The outfit for Falcon, on the other hand, seems to be all-new, differing from the concept art in a couple of key ways.
This version of the outfit has shorter sleeves, a different design for the Falcon 'logo' on the chest, a lack of gauntlets on the lower arms, a differing design on the upper arms, and the use of more traditional goggles. This costume instead more closely resembles the one seen on the D23 Expo poster for the series, although this image from Stan gives an even better look at the front of the outfit.
The reason for Falcon having two different costumes remains to be seen, especially since they appear so similar at first glance. The costume in the concept artwork seems more advanced and armored, so the one pictured in this image may be the initial outfit that Falcon dons in the series.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has yet to receive a new release window, but hopefully fans will able to see the heroes in action, and in-costume, soon.
