After a painstakingly long wait, Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally playing in theaters. The Tom Holland-led threequel has been the talk of the town for months now, especially after a multitude of leaks and rumors that hounded the movie. From leaked set photos and soundtrack to a plethora of potential cameo appearances, many would agree that No Way Home's behind-the-scenes development boosted audience anticipation around the globe.

No Way Home reunites Holland's Peter with Zendaya's MJ and Jacob Batalon's Ned, but the trio's adventure is not the fun vacation that was previously depicted in Far From Home. Instead, the main trio will deal with Multiversal threats, a seemingly frustrated Doctor Strange, and the burden of public scrutiny due to the fact that they are friends with Spider-Man.

The first reactions for No Way Home are generally positive, which could serve as a good sign for fans who are waiting to see it during opening weekend. On top of that, the film also smashed a box office record during its opening night, beating its MCU counterpart in Avengers: Infinity War

The good word of mouth and hyped reactions online are proof that No Way Home is a must-see, and a new reaction video may have doubled down on that claim.

TikTok user wondersofmagic shared a theater reaction video of fans from a Spider-Man: No Way Home screening.

The video shows fans cheering and applauding the moment when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's entrance in the MCU threequel.

It was later confirmed by Matt Ramos (Twitter's @therealsupes) that the video was taken from his fan event at AMC Burbank 16 in Los Angeles, California last December 15, 2021.

The No Way Home Hype is Real!

It's clear that the anticipation for Spider-Man: No Way Home is sky-high. This insane theater reaction cements that claim, and seeing the fans react to major moments is such a visual treat.

The sight of a raucous crowd is usually seen from concerts and sporting events since it evokes different emotions of excitement and surprise. All things considered, the fact that a film like No Way Home managed to produce such a reaction is already an amazing achievement.

The crowd reaction here is something similar to Avengers: Endgame's screenings. The 2019 MCU blockbuster produced iconic moments such as Captain America wielding Mjolnir and the Avengers Assemble sequence that merited raucous fan reactions. That said, No Way Home joins the list since seeing the highly anticipated returns of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire as their respective Spider-Men is more than enough to evoke nostalgia and cheers from everyone.

This is on top of the fact that Sony, Marvel Studios, and the rest of the cast (especially Tom Holland) denied that Garfield and Maguire are in the film. In a way, many would agree that the denial would be forgiven, as evidenced by the wild audience reactions.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in most countries worldwide.
