Spider-Man No Way Home Mysterio

Spider-Man: No Way Home has been the talk of the town ever since Far From Home ended—Peter Parker's identity being revealed was a huge twist and brought the franchise into entirely new territory. Little did everyone know Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures were going to deal with it by introducing the Multiverse to Spider-Man, and in doing so, bring back old and beloved faces.

Villains from past installments in the franchise got to see the light of day once again. Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Jamie Foxx all made the cut.

Having five antagonists return from older adventures really showed the richness of Spider-Man’s rogue gallery. It's a vast category of characters, all perfect for the big screen.

The MCU has only seen the likes of the Vulture and Mysterio, but there are tons of great bad guys who would be prime candidates for Peter’s next film.

During the last act of No Way Home, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is trying to hold the Multiverse back from entering the MCU. In the sky, outlines can be seen—those of classic Spidey villains.

So far, fans have spotted Kraven the Hunter, Black Cat, Scorpion, and Rhino. Now, it seems that two more may have been discovered

The Mysterio of it All

Thanks to Tik Tok user @kevinmoranrob, fans now know the identity of another one of the mysterious Multiversal silhouettes seen in Spider-Man: No Way Home’s final act.

The video in question clearly shows one of the outlines to be the backstabbing Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio.

Given how all of the film’s events started, it's only fitting that the villain makes an appearance of some sort.

A second silhouette that was pointed out is theorized to be Superior Spider-Man. For those who don't know, that Spidey is one whose body was taken over by Doc Ock's consciousness—where then the former villain vows to be a better Spider-Man than Peter Parker.

Another possible identity for the same outline? The obscure Spidey villain Doppelganger.

This bad guy was an evil and mindless duplicate of Spider-Man created by Adam Warlock’s twisted alter ego, Magus, during the comic event Infinity War.

Spider Villains in the Sky

The Multiversal outlines in the sky have been fun Easter Eggs for fans to discover. But what do they mean? Could these bad guys be the most likely candidates to go up against Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in future projects?

Sony already has its eyes on a Kraven the Hunter film, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson attached. Rumors have also indicated they may be interested in a solo project for Rhino.

Black Cat once had a project in development, but it’s long since been canceled. She would be a perfect candidate for Holland’s next adventure. Their unique relationship would fit Peter’s isolated lifestyle and be a great temporary move away from Zendaya’s MJ.

Scorpion is also an excellent choice for Spider-Man 4. With Mac Gargan introduced in Homecoming and J. Jonah Jameson becoming more prominent, all the right pieces are on the board.

When it comes to Mysterio, his whole schtick is illusions. Hopefully, Marvel capitalizes on that one day, and Peter can once again face the man who made him sacrifice everything.

While the next MCU Spidey adventure is a long way out, fans can always see No Way Home again in theaters worldwide.
