Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are diving into the deep end with their latest team-up effort for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is now playing in theaters across the world. Following nearly two years of teases and news along with countless internet-breaking rumors about story details, fans across the fandom are taking in the full Spidey experience.

In a year that's had more than its fair share of issues with box office results due to the pandemic still lingering, No Way Home is coming as the movie that's bringing fans back to the big screen in a big way. The threequel has already earned more revenue in its Thursday night previews than 2018's Avengers: Infinity War making it the third-highest total ever in that category, and that should just be the start of its successes.

The MCU's last 2021 film is also excelling critically with a 94% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes alongside a near-perfect 99% audience score, meaning fans are truly enjoying what Spider-Man: No Way Home is giving. Another recently released rating metric agrees with those sentiments, thanks to a new score for the MCU outing.

No Way Home Earns Perfect Audience Score

Audiences have given Spider-Man: No Way Home an "A+" CinemaScore rating.

To calculate this score, the company polls viewers for their thoughts on the movie in question before the audience members fill out ballot cards to grade the film. This method results in the film's official "CinemaScore."

No Way Home becomes the fourth MCU movie to receive a perfect CinemaScore, after 2012's The Avengers, 2018's Black Panther, and 2019's Avengers: Endgame. 16 MCU movies earned an "A" rating, five received an "A-," and only 2011's Thor (B+) and 2021's Eternals (B) came in lower.

Fans Loving No Way Home

Almost no movie in history has built up the hype or anticipation that Spider-Man: No Way Home has since before Phase 4 even officially started. Even more incredible is the fact that, upon its debut in theaters, the movie somehow managed to exceed that hype and come in as such a successful story for fans who have waited so long to see what would happen.

Being mentioned in the same breath as two Avengers movies and the Academy Award-winning Black Panther is no small feat, particularly taking into account how only Endgame has achieved a similar level of anticipation. While this rating doesn't give any specific reasons for the high rating, there is no denying that fans who contributed to this poll largely loved what they saw.

As No Way Home moves further into its opening weekend, it will continue to be the hot topic among MCU fans that can't wait to discuss the way it changed the landscape of the franchise.
