The Marvel Cinematic Universe would not be complete without the live-action interpretation of Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man. The armor-infused hero started the journey for this franchise back in 2008, and the rest, as they say, was history.
Downey's impressive portrayal of the Marvel hero anchored the franchise's success, ultimately making the character his own over the years. The star played Iron Man for a total of 11 movies for the MCU, before eventually ending his run in heroic fashion during 2019's Avengers: Endgame.
Right now, it's unlikely that Downey will return as the fan-favorite hero, especially after Endgame perfectly capped off his time with the MCU. Still, the veteran actor did tease a potential comeback, admitting that fans will “move [them] towards what they want” in the future.

As part of the toy line's Infinity Saga wave, Hasbro officially unveiled a new Marvel Legends figure for the MCU's Iron Man, showcasing the look of Robert Downey Jr.'s Marvel hero from 2008's Iron Man.
The figure is now available for pre-order here, with Hasbro aiming for an August release schedule.
The six-inch figure boasts stunning enhancements and upgrades, such as alternate hands and arms to replicate some of the hero's poses from the MCU film.
Toy collectors can recreate iconic MCU moments from Iron Man, ranging from intense battle-ready scenes with the Mark III to compelling character beats.
