The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is currently filming the remainder of its scenes, which has led to a plethora of set photos and videos to hit the Internet.
Recent photos have revealed mysterious soldiers guarding some sort of building in Prague. Another set video from Prague depicted an action scene featuring Wyatt Russell's U.S. Agent, demonstrating the violence that the character is capable of.
A new actor joined the cast of the series recently, that being Top Gun: Maverick's Danny Ramirez. One of the writers of the series also revealed that characters from the "earliest Marvel movies" would be making appearances, leading fans to run rampant with speculation as to who these could be.
A new piece of merchandise from the series has now confirmed that a character will be operating under another title...

An Instagram post shared by mcucollector24 showed off the new line of Marvel Minimates by Diamond Select, based on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
The packaging notably provides the names of the figures in the line, including Wyatt Russell's John Walker/U.S. Agent, who is listed as Captain America.
WHAT THIS MEANS
This toy description confirms John Walker will not only bear the U.S. Agent name, but will also be using the Captain America title. This will be sure to ruffle some feathers in the MCU, with many excited over a new Captain America being assigned by the U.S. government, whilst others will certainly be skeptical of a new person taking on such a heavy mantle.
This will almost certainly play into the themes of the show, creating a 'battle for the mantle' scenario where different figures will need to prove themselves worthy enough to become Captain America, Sam Wilson included. So far, John Walker seems to be abusing his power in the role, particularly in how he carries out his heroic duties. This could lead to a besmirching of the Captain America name, leading to the identity falling in favor amongst the public.
Therefore, it'll be up to Sam Wilson to prove that he is the right person to step into the role. Sam ultimately has Steve Rogers' approval, so perhaps he'll be able to leverage this fact to rightfully take the title back.
The new Captain America will be barreling his way onto Disney+, when The Falcon and the Winter Soldier arrives on the service in 2021.
