The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a lot of movies in its arsenal, giving fans a chance to look back at some of the franchise's iconic moments. That said, the worldwide pandemic has caused a shortage of new content, especially for MCU fans. The good news is there are 23 movies in the franchise's Infinity Saga that are readily available on various platforms, but the majority of those are on Disney+

It was previously reported that the arrival of Avengers: Infinity War to Disney+ was delayed due to some potential rights issues (though nothing has been confirmed at this point). However, the much-anticipated film has already been added to the growing list of MCU movies on the platform.

CONFIRMATION

Through its official Twitter account, Disney+ announced the arrival of Avengers: Infinity War on the streaming platform, alongside other major titles such as Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2, Tarzan, and A.N.T. Farm

UPDATE: To celebrate the arrival of Infinity War on Disney+, Marvel Studios released a new trailer for the film with the description saying, "Earth's Mightiest Heroes come home."

WHAT THIS MEANS

If one chose to list their top 5 MCU films of all time, many would agree that Avengers: Infinity War is included in the ranking. Infinity War served as an iconic movie of the billion-dollar franchise since it marked the first time for several heroes interacting. From the first meeting of Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy to Tony Stark and Doctor Strange's entertaining back-and-forth, the third Avengers film has a lot of captivating moments that fans can look back on.

Aside from the charming moments of our beloved MCU heroes, the film also marked the debut of the MCU's most iconic villain in the form of Thanos (Josh Brolin). By accomplishing the goal of acquiring the six Infinity Stones, Infinity War sent shockwaves through fans around the world as it cemented the villain's victory against the heroes for the first time. This made Infinity War an unprecedented film for the franchise, making it a worthwhile rewatch for any MCU fan.

The debut of Infinity War on Disney+ should give fans an opportunity to relive an MCU classic. It also gives an opportunity to look back at some of the reveals from the film's writers during last April's Quarantine Watch Party, offering a fresh perspective to fans everywhere.
