Season 2 of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian is in full swing, having already aired two episodes with a third on the way on Friday, November 13.

The most recent episode Chapter 10: The Passenger saw the title character, bounty hunter Din Djarin, ferrying a frog-like creature to her homeworld in exchange for information on the whearabouts of his fellow Mandalorians. The trip goes awry when Djarin's ship, the Razor Crest falls into an ice cave while attempting to escape from two pursuing New Republic X-Wings.

The episode as a whole featured some rather interesting visual concepts and designs.

The official Mandalorian Twitter account shared three new pieces of concept art from "The Passenger" by artist Ryan Church. Check them out below:

First up, there's Djarin and the Frog Lady making their harrowing escape from a horde of arachnids. Here, Djarin fires back at the spiders with his blaster pistol, making for a very dynamic piece of art.

Next up is a piece depicting a sequence from the end of the episode where the X-Wing pilots assist Djarin in exterminating his pest problem and blasting the spiders off the hull of the Razor Crest.

And finally, artwork that shows Din Djarin attempting to fend off the group of approaching arachnid creatures before they can reach his already heavily damaged ship.

Between the Frog Lady character and the spider creatures, The Mandalorian definitely had some intriguing looking aliens featured in Chapter 10. The ant-like character known as "Dr. Mandible" from the Cantina scene isn't pictured in the above images, but also shared some striking design elements that were common throughout this episode.

It's especially cool to see the official social media accounts for the show sharing previously unseen concept art like this. Could this be the start of a trend? It would certainly be nice for fans to have a little extra material to pour over between episodes.

Chapter 11 of The Mandalorian airs on Friday, November 13, 2020.
