Just a couple of days ago, fans all over the world participated in the online celebration of all things Star Wars. The date of May 4th has been popularly associated with the franchise through a clever play on words: "May the 4th Be With You", which is a twist on one of the series' most enduring quotes. Throughout 'Star Wars Day' (and it's counterpart on the following date, 'Revenge of the Fifth') celebrities and alums of the various films and television series took to social media to profess their love for A Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Actor John Boyega, who of course played Finn in all three sequel films in the Star Wars Skywalker Saga, used the day as an opportunity to share some behind the scenes images and video from the set of the final film of the sequel trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker. You can check out his posts below.

Boyega has always been particularly engaging with the fans, so it should come as no surprise that he took the time to share these posts. Of special note is the video of Boyega as well as Poe Dameron himself, Oscar Isaac, goofing around on set during a sandstorm. It was most likely not a very pleasant day on set when that occurred.

Also of interest are the shots of Finn working alongside Naomi Ackie's character, Jannah. In the film, the two shared a bond over their time as Stormtroopers working for the villainous First Order. Jannah's story was left a bit open-ended at the finale of The Rise of Skywalker, something that Ackie wishes to see Lucasfilm capitalize on.

All in all, this was certainly an intriguing glimpse into the film's production, especially for the fans who revel in behind the scenes details.
