Initially only a rumor last year, Ironheart will be a new series on Disney+ debuting another young hero into the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe's roster of characters.

Starring Dominique Thorne, Ironheart will follow Riri Willaims, another genius inventor who will create the most advanced armor suit since Tony Stark aka Iron Man himself.

According to recent reports filming for Ironheart will begin in April 2022, indicating that the series is still a ways off. However, Marvel Studios have tapped Chinaka Hodge as head-writer for the series, whose past work includes Apple TV's Amazing Stories and the most recent adaptation of Snowpiercer.

While filming isn't set to start till next spring, that doesn't mean pre-production isn't underway with a new working title for the upcoming show revealed.

A WISE WORKING TITLE FOR IRONHEART

According to Lizzie Hill of The Cosmic Circus, the working title for Ironheart is currently "Wise Guy."

A VIRTUAL TONY STARK APPROACHES?

As Lizzie Hill speculated in her own report, it's hard to imagine who else this working title could be referencing, since, at least in the comics, the only significant male figures in Riri Williams' life were her father, step-father, and Tony Stark; all of whom were dead by the time her superhero origin began.

As it stands, Tony Stark is the only one that fits the role of a "wise guy," being a perpetually quippy and sarcastic egoist. In the comics, Tony Stark was forced into a coma after a fight with Captain Marvel (long story) but had his mind backed up in an A.I. that he sent to Riri Williams because he saw promise in her.

It was shown in Iron Man that Tony Stark graduated summa cum laude from MIT at seventeen years old. Then, in Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark returned to his alma mater as a guest speaker and to introduce the September Foundation Grant, a program meant to provide funds for the school and its students' research.

In the comics, Riri Williams actually began attending MIT when she was eleven years old, so it's possible that after the five-year time skip in Avengers: Endgame, Williams was already on Stark's radar through the September Foundation. After his death, he could have prepared a delivery for Williams that would come with a backup of his mind in an A.I. as a mentor to her like the comics

However, much is bound to be changed with Riri Williams' origins, but it's a safe assumption that Tony Stark will make a reappearance in this series in some shape or form.
