Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will serve as the first time that Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff and Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange team up together. However, when Wanda transformed into the Scarlet Witch at the end of WandaVision, many speculated that she will be an adversary instead of an ally to Strange in the upcoming MCU sequel.
The theories were further amplified when marketing for Multiverse of Madness unveils different pieces of sinister footage of the Avenger. Still, it remains to be seen if the character's villainy will push through since anything can happen when a project deals with alternate realities.
Now, new footage has added more intrigue to the Scarlet Witch's potential heel turn in the sequel.

Is Wanda Good or Evil in Doctor Strange 2?
Wanda's moral dilemma has long been the topic of conversation among MCU fans ever since WandaVision, and it appears that a final answer will be unveiled in Multiverse of Madness.
It's clear that Wanda is not innately evil, even considering how dark some of her story has been. The Darkhold's influence at the end of WandaVision could be the culprit of Wanda's villainous turn in the sequel, and Strange could be the key to saving her.
It's possible that a good chunk of Multiverse of Madness will explore Wanda's villainy, especially after previous promos include footage of the Scarlet Witch's attack on the Illuminati compound. However, there's a chance that the character will be redeemed in the end, with Wanda teaming up with Strange to fight Gargantos or another villain that has yet to be revealed.
Whatever the case, all will be revealed when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness premieres in theaters on May 6.
