Star Wars fans around the world are waiting with bated breath to finally get their hands on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Even audiences that don’t generally game are looking forward to its release. Many have played LEGO games since they were a kid, on their couch playing alongside a sibling, parent, or friends. Now with this title gamers will be able to relive that experience.

The game is set to have over 300 playable characters for fans to roam the galaxy as. There are the obvious ones like Kenobi and Yoda, but then there are also deep cuts such as Mama or a Gonk Droid.

While the whole playable roster has been leaked ahead of the game’s official launch, there still aren’t pictures of what they all look like yet. Recently, ten different versions of Luke Skywalker were revealed.

Now, fans can see ten versions of his father: Anakin Skywalker.

Ten Shades of Anakin Skywalker

On its official Instagram page, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has unveiled a first look at the ten different versions of Anakin Skywalker that players can unlock and play as throughout their time in the game.

First is young little Ani from The Phantom Menace, ready to take the world.

Then there's Anakin getting ready to participate in some Pod Racing.

Players can play as the third and final evolution of this younger Skywalker: the pilot.

Next is Anakin Skywalker from the beginning of Episode II: Attack of the Clones, cape and all.

The aged and broody Skywalker from Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is, obviously, one of the many Anakins players can embody.

The crucial moment where the Chosen One turns to the dark side is no doubt going to be one of the more popular choices.

Players will be able to do what fried Anakin never could: walk.

It would be a crime if Darth Vader himself wasn't part of the massive roster; TT Games seems to know this.

Finally, at number ten, is unmasked Vader from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

There Must Only Be Ten

Given that there are only ten versions of Luke as well, it seems the game may have capped its alternate skins at ten per character. This is a great choice given the many looks they sport throughout the franchise; that list could easily be well over 600 figures long, with a majority of those being variations of the same person.

Not only will the game’s playable roster hold characters from Episodes I through IX, but every single one of those movies will be recreated via different levels. The richness of content that TT game’s upcoming project has is staggering.

It doesn’t end there either. There will be several DLC packs, the first ones being character packs bringing aboard figures from The Mandalorian and Rogue One, among others.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga releases on April 5, 2022.
