2017's Thor: Ragnarok was praised among fans for many things: The story, the humor, the characters. But a particular aspect of the film that garnered positive attention was the visuals. While much of the film drew inspiration from famous Marvel Comics artist Jack Kirby (Especially the scenes set on the planet Sakaar) there were loads of other intriguing designs for both characters and set pieces alike.

French artist, Aleksi Briclot, who provided visual concepts for Thor: Ragnarok took to Instagram today to share his design for a type of "minion that Hela could summon and lead" in the film. His post can be viewed below:

As you can see, this monstrous looking design (That wouldn't look out of place in a James Cameron Alien film) is a bit of a far cry than the undead Asgardian soldier we see in the film.

Nevertheless, it is a cool looking creature to be sure. Briclot does mention in his Instagram post that he was asked to "push in some other directions" but one wonders how Thor, Valkyrie and co. would have fared against these beasts.
