The latest Star Wars streaming show to hit Disney+, The Book of Boba Fett, has passed the halfway mark. On January 19, 2022, Chapter Four of the series was released and saw a number of new plot developments added to the story. The series, of course, centers on Temuera Morrison's legendary bounty hunter, Boba Fett, as he installs himself as leader of Jabba the Hutt's expansive crime empire on Tatooine, alongside fellow mercenary Fennec Shand, as portrayed by fan-favorite Ming-Na Wen.
In the new episode, Boba attempted to unite the various crime families of Mos Espa under him in order to have enough muscle to fend off the fearsome Pyke Syndicate. This doesn't go as planned, but Fett does manage to get the other bosses to pledge their neutrality to his cause, should the Pykes attempt to buy their allegiances.
The show's last set of flashbacks also featured Fett reclaiming his Firespray-class gunship from Jaba's palace and using it to exact certain vengeance on the gang of speeder bike-riding hooligans who murdered his adoptive Tusken family.
To celebrate The Book of Boba Fett reaching this point, Disney is celebrating with new high-def images for fans to enjoy.
New Boba Fett Images, Fresh From Chapter Four
Disney has officially released four new images from the fourth installment of The Book of Boba Fett.
Fett's famous helmet and armor rest on a stand, ready to be worn yet again by the notorious hunter.
Fennec looks on as Boba pilots his reacquired Firespray ship through the night sky on Tatooine.
Fett and Shand try to stealthily sneak into Jabba the Hutt's Palace in order to steal back Boba's ship, which is being held there.
Boba breaks bread with his fellow Tatooine crime lords in the center of his throne room.
What Could Be Next For Boba Fett?
In the closing moments of Chapter Four, as the heads of the Mos Espa crime families leave Boba's palace without swearing to join the bounty hunter in his cause, Fennec and Boba decide that they will need some backup if they wish to stand a chance against the Pyke Syndicate.
It's then that a familiar theme is heard in the series' score: None other than the motif of The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin. Of course, this moment heavily implies that the fan-favorite bounty hunter and Grogu's father figure will appear in the next episode of The Book of Boba Fett. After all, if Fett is in need of some trustworthy help, who better is there to help out than the Mando?
Djarin might not be the only bounty hunter to answer Fett's call, but fans will need to wait until the next chapter of The Book of Boba Fett hits Disney+ on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
