Fans have regarded Marvel's Spider-Man as one of the best adaptations of the comic book character in years, including actor Tom Holland, who "absolutely loved it" when shooting Spider-Man: No Way Home. According to Holland, it was so influential that the threequel replicated one of Spider-Man's fighting moves from the PS4 game.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered recently added the Black & Gold and the Integrated suits to promote the threequel film, before developer Insomniac Games finally moves onto the sequel full time, where Peter Parker and Miles Morales will face Kraven the Hunter and Venom.

However, an iconic fight move isn't the only thing that No Way Home takes from the video game.

No Way Home Reuses Quote from Spider-Man PS4

Warning - This article contains spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home and Marvel's Spider-Man.

For fans of Marvel's Spider-Man, the quote found on Aunt May's gravestone at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home should be instantly familiar.

"When you help someone, you help everyone," which is the same phrase used on Aunt May's gravestone in the video game.

Not the Only Influence From PS4's Spider-Man

The quote isn't the only aspect of Marvel's Spider-Man that influenced the ending of No Way Home, as Holland's Peter Parker jumps out of his new apartment when he sees the police scanner reporting a crime on his phone.

So, it'll be interesting to see how Insomniac's Spider-Man video games will influence the films moving forward, whether it be the gadgets Peter uses in the video game or other story influences like the gravestone.

Although, the use of that quote and the distinct lack of a tombstone next to Aunt May makes Uncle Ben's absence even more apparent, despite his grave being next to May's in Marvel's Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently playing in theaters, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 planning to release in 2023.
