It is clear that The Mandalorian Season 2 is off to a rousing start on Disney+. After a successful first season, the sophomore run of the hit Star Wars series provided more surprises for fans by introducing Timothy Olyphant's Cobb Vanth into the mix while also confirming the long-awaited return of Boba Fett

While the latest episode didn't meet the expectations of some fans, it still managed to place the spotlight on Baby Yoda while also exploring the character's dynamic with Mando even further. However, this doesn't change the fact that the anticipation for The Mandalorian is sky-high, especially after the imminent live-action arrival of several characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars

As fans wait for the next episode of The Mandalorian, a new partnership with Xbox will seemingly add more hype and a bigger audience to the Star Wars series' second season.

CONFIRMATION

Xbox confirmed that Ultimate Game Pass members will receive 30 days of Disney+ access. This new perk for Ultimate Game Pass members is a timely one since gamers will get the chance to watch the much-talked-about second season of The Mandalorian.

Along with the reveal, Xbox also shared a promotional trailer for the latest Disney+ perk for Ultimate members, showcasing footage from The Mandalorian Season 2.

Xbox also shared that Ultimate members "who are new to Disney+" will be eligible to claim the 30-day subscription trial through the "Perks Gallery" section on their Xbox console, Xbox app on Windows 10 PC, or through the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android.

Once it is claimed, members will then be redirected to the Disney+ website in order to activate their subscription. It was also revealed that members can claim and activate the trial "until January 31."

WHAT THIS MEANS

Given the hype surrounding The Mandalorian Season 2, Xbox's partnership with Disney+ isn't surprising. Xbox is in the midst of launching their next-gen consoles in the form of Xbox Series X and Series S, and adding the benefit of a Disney+ subscription to their Ultimate members could potentially boost sales along the way.

Xbox's use of The Mandalorian as the main anchor of marketing the perk for its members is just further proof of the success of the highly-acclaimed Disney+ series. If anything, it also provides a chance for those members in the Xbox gaming community to watch The Mandalorian for the first time, ultimately adding more viewers in the process.

While the trailer didn't reveal anything new for The Mandalorian, it still provided a fascinating look at the new season. This isn't a surprise since it's likely that the promotional teaser is aimed at those who were unfamiliar with the Star Wars series, and this could be Xbox's way of luring their members to gain access to the latest perk.

All in all, The Mandalorian is expected to continue serving as Disney+'s flagship series moving forward, especially after the show's well-documented success that seems poised to continue during its latest season.
