It's no surprise that there has been a burst of news about The Mandalorian in the past week, especially after the internet-stopping reveal of next season's trailer. As expected, the galaxy-spanning journey of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda has been front and center in recent promotion of the show, and a slew of surprising characters will soon arrive as well.
Given that the series is set to premiere next month, a plethora of marketing materials for The Mandalorian has started to surface. Several The Mandalorian merchandise from the Disney shop showcased Mando's new armor for the upcoming season while a new segment in the form of Mando Mondays will also debut.
Mando Mondays will serve as the official platform for featuring new digital content and products inspired by the hit Star Wars series. Now, it appears that the first batch of merchandise will be available for pre-order sooner rather than later.
CONFIRMATION
Star Wars shared the first batch of "select pre-orders for the first wave of Mando Mondays products" that will kick off today at 1 P.M. PT, or 4 P.M. ET.
Along with the reveal, Disney Consumer Products of Games and Publishing president Kareem Daniel expressed his excitement about the "must-have selection" of toys, books, comics, and digital content that will soon be featured for Mando Mondays:
“When The Mandalorian debuted last year on Disney+, the show became an instant phenomenon, with fans of all ages expressing excitement for products related to its iconic characters — particularly the Child. This fall, as the world continues to watch the narrative unfold, we will further bring this unique Star Wars story to life through a must-have selection of toys, books, comics, digital content, and more.”
The first wave of select pre-orders will feature Hasbro's The Mandalorian Black Series Credit Collection, and it showcases a captivating look at several 6-inch figures depicting the characters from the show.
First off, a 6-inch The Mandalorian figure highlights a screen-accurate depiction of Din Djarin from the series. The description mentioned that the figure "features multiple points of articulation, premium deco, and a collectible Imperial Credit accessory."

Based on this reveal, it's clear that Lucasfilm and Disney are well invested in the marketing side of The Mandalorian, and this new batch of figures is only the tip of the iceberg. The presence of Mando Mondays in the coming weeks provides an opportunity for both toy collectors and casual fans to be familiar with The Mandalorian even more by being exposed to a jam-packed bundle of merchandise.
