Xbox Game Pass has been a shining light for Microsoft over the last few years. The subscription service has an extensive library, unrivaled by Sony or Nintendo, and has given players access to huge titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Gears 5 and, with the recent addition of EA Play to the service, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
While Game Pass provides access to triple-A titles as mentioned, the platform also highlights a number of smaller, third party titles, usually created at Microsoft Studios. Xbox Wire recently announced a number of new additions to the library, including multiple Persona titles.
A recent comment on the official Game Pass Instagram account may have revealed another game, coming in the near future.
POPULAR PLATFORMER COMING TO GAME PASS?
A comment posted on Xbox Game Pass' official Instagram account may have revealed that current PlayStation exclusive Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout could be coming to the subscription service. First reported by _XboxNews on Twitter, a comment left by one user asking for the addition of the game sparked a response by the admin of the page, who responded with “ it's coming. ”

In a follow-up tweet, developer Devolver Digital has addressed the rumors multiple times, stating that there are no plans in place for Fall Guys to come to Xbox Game Pass.
That’s incorrect.
Devolver Digital rejected the information again, outlining their original statement.
There are no plans for Fall Guys to come to any form of Gamepass.
The official Fall Guys Twitter account later went on to clarify the information as well, ruling out a Game Pass future for the game.
Sorry - there has been a bit of a mixup - Fall Guys is not coming to Xbox Game Pass!
XBOX RELEASE NOT RULED OUT
When Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout released back in February of last year, the world fell in love with the game. It's fast-paced, addictive style attracted players from all over, who were desperate to grab as many crowns as they could. While the game, published by Mediatonic, has begun to lose some of its player-base in recent months, a season 3 announcement at The Game Awards helped spark some life back into the game.
An addition to Xbox Game Pass could once again show its drawing power. Mediatonic has always been vocal on its desire for the game to become available on Xbox, and given the player-base that is being avoided by not having the game available on Xbox platforms, we can only assume talks must be in place.
While both Fall Guys itself and Devolver Digital have released follow-up statements, their wording is fascinating. Both ruled out the possibility of the game coming to Xbox Game Pass but didn't rule out the game's release on Xbox platforms, potentially hinting towards a solo-release on the Xbox Store. Either way, Xbox players will be hoping the situation gets cleared up soon, and that they can get their hands on Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in the near future.
