The wait is finally over.
Cyberpunk 2077 has begun to release in the first regions across the world. The newest title from The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red launches December 10 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia with a full next-gen upgrade coming in early 2021.
While launch will contain a huge story spanning an expansive open-world, that is only the beginning. There is plenty more content to come in 2021 and beyond — including story expansions and a full multiplayer mode. The new launch trailer highlights the fully customizable main character, V, giving some teases towards the story and showcasing the Night City setting. Alongside giving a new look at the highly-anticipated title, the trailer gives a new look at Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand and hides a secret message from the team towards the end.
The secret message largely focuses on thanking fans for their patience, whilst also giving the first teases towards the post-launch plans for the title:
Our planned expansions will take you even deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 207, offering substantial, story-driven content that'll give you tough choices to make through impactful narratives that you won't soon forget.
But before we get there, we'll first be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of free DLC packs to begin hitting Night City, dropping a bunch of cool stuff that'll inject even more life into the world of the dark future.

WHAT THIS MEANS
A huge part of the critical success that CD Projekt's last title — The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — saw was thanks to the award-winning Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine DLC. These expansions received great praise among gamers and critics alike, so standards are set high for Cyberpunk .
This message largely reaffirms a lot of what we already know about Cyberpunk's post launch plans, including the promise of “substantial, story-driven content” along with various free DLC expansions This DLC is set to start in early 2021 and will likely to be followed with several larger-scale, paid expansions.
