The PS5 finally saw its release date last week in the United States. Excitement for the console is crashing websites left and right, so you’re certainly one of the lucky ones if you have happened to get your hands on one. The console may have officially released, but the PS5 is still extremely hard to come by. People have even resorted to scalping units for thousands of dollars a piece. To be fair though, chaos is all but expected when it comes to acquiring the new console.
While the US got to dip their toes in the water first, it’s now the rest of the world’s turn. As of November 19, 2020, the PS5 launched in over 20 different international markets. A new generation is here for the entire world, and that alone is an exciting prospect. Sony seems to agree.
