As Fortnite nears the conclusion of its Marvel themed season, Nexus War, players have a lot to look forward to. It was announced recently that the game will feature a fight with Galactus as the finale of the season , in what video game industry veteran Geoff Keighley called the game's "biggest live event yet." The event is set to take place on December 1 at 4PM EST and will allow players from across the globe to take on one of Marvel's most fearsome villains together.

Fortnite has taken to their official Twitter account to put out another tease for the upcoming Galactus live event. This tease takes the form of a piece of artwork of Iron Man, showing a glimpse at the hero himself alongside some various sights from across the world of Fortnite . The full tweet can be seen below:

WHAT THIS MEANS
With hype building towards what will most certainly be a massive and exciting event, this kind of post makes sense. This artwork has previously been seen in-game, being an unlockable loading screen for Tier 87 of this season's battle pass. We will likely see a few other future teases in this same vein, highlighting characters that have come to the game in this latest season.
It is also possible that the number of in-game teases will also increase, building on things we've already seen, like Galactus appearing in the game itself . The text of the Tweet is also interesting, shedding some light on the stakes of this event, teasing a possibly destroyed or modified island in its wake. Clearly, this event is shaping up to be something that huge fans of Fortnite will not want to miss out on, as it will likely influence the future of the game.
