Cyberpunk 2077: Keanu Reeves Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of Development, New Gameplay Released

Cyberpunk 2077's multiple delays have kept eager fans on the edge of their seat. The game has had a troubled development spanning over 8 years in total and with fans becoming less patient by the day, CD Projekt Red are determined to continue to build hype around the release.

The pencilled in release date of December 10, 2020 is coming ever closer and CD Projekt Red has revealed some behind the scenes of the development of the game, including a familiar face.

Released on Cyberpunk 2077's official YouTube channel, Keanu Reeves has gone behind the scenes with his playable character, Johnny Silverhand, and showed fans what they can expect to see throughout the game.

Speaking ahead of the game's release, Keanu revealed how his character will have multiple dialogue options throughout the game, which will affect the story throughout a player's playthrough.

The game's YouTube channel released a batch of new videos, including a sleek new gameplay trailer:

Fans were also treated to an official trailer for Keanu Reeves' character, Johnny Silverhand.

Expectations for the soundtrack for Cyberpunk 2077 are sky high, and the official YouTube channel did not disappoint in that aspect.

CD Projekt Red also revealed their newest piece of technology, used for lip-syncing throughout the game, JALI.

WHAT THIS MEANS

The inclusion of multiple dialogue options within a single player campaign appears to be the new normal with most releases these days, but a game without this option can sometimes feel empty, as if the player is not in control of the narrative. It's great to see Cyberpunk 2077 will be continuing with this trend, ensuring that the player has a fully active role within the story.

Whilst fans looking forward to the game's release have every right to be disappointed by the multiple delays, it's fair to say that CD Projekt Red are putting every effort into releasing Cyberpunk 2077 as polished as possible. The game has the potential to be the standout release for the first batch of games available for the next generation and with more news regarding the game becoming available by the day, all the signs are pointing in the right direction for the developer.
