Disney+ is still in a relative state of infancy, doing its best to match established streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

Despite being relatively light on new and original content, the service has seen major success as of late. The arrival of The Mandalorian Season 2 was met with universal acclaim, with many lauding its premiere episode as one of the best of the series so far.

Upcoming series WandaVision will also mark the first original MCU series on the platform, which is believed to arrive before the end of the year. Marvel Studios is putting a lot of stock into Disney+, with upcoming series Moon Knight reportedly adding Oscar Isaac in the lead role.

A new advert for the streaming platform now provides some hints for the future of the service...

NEWS

Shared by Twitter user @TheVisionUpdate, a new advert for the launch of Disney+ in Latin America was released.

The advert features clips from a number of actors and actresses from Disney's various current and upcoming franchises, including Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano from The Mandalorian, Zoe Saldana and Chris Hemsworth from the Avengers franchise, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany from WandaVision, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Diego Luna from the Cassian Andor series.

The video of all of these actors and more can be watched below:

WHAT THIS MEANS

Although the service has arguably struggled for original content in recent months, this advert demonstrates the wealth of upcoming content that will be arriving on Disney+ in the near future. There are a lot of exciting new shows on the horizon with plenty of talented performers attached, which should give current and future subscribers some hope for the service.

These upcoming series are also only a few to be coming to the platform. On top of the previously listed projects, Loki, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and more will be arriving on the platform in the near future. Pixar's Soul and an animated series set in the Monsters Inc. universe have also been announced, indicating that the acclaimed animation studio will have a big presence on the service, too.

With Diego Luna also being featured in this advert, this could indicate that the Cassian Andor series may be arriving sooner than fans may expect. Little has been heard from the series recently, though Toby Haynes was announced to replace previous director Tony Gilroy. This indicates that the cogs are indeed turning over at Lucasfilm, so hopefully, more news about the show's development and release window will arrive soon.

As long as production is able to continue without too many hiccups, MCU and Star Wars can expect to watch WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the Cassian Andor series, and more soon.
