Loki show rumored to introduce Kang the Conqueror to the MCU

Marvel Studios first introduced time travel in the MCU with the use of the Time Stone in Doctor Strange . The concept was further explored during the Time Heist in Avengers: Endgame . Audiences learned that if one were to travel through time, they would be sent back in time to a parallel universe. This new rumor suggests that a popular time traveler from the comics might be making their live-action debut in the MCU in Marvel Studios' Loki .

RUMOR

According to Daniel Richtman's Patreon , Marvel Studios' Loki will introduce Kang the Conqueror to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

WHAT THIS MEANS

Kang the Conqueror is a powerful time traveler with a superior level of intelligence. Kang is one of the Avengers' greatest enemies and made his first appearance in Avengers Vol. 1 #8 in 1964.

Kang is also an enemy of the Time Variance Authority, an organization that monitors for interferences within the multiverse. The Super Bowl's Disney+ "Big Game" spot revealed that the TVA will feature in Loki . If Kang appears in the series, one can only imagine if the conqueror will aide the God of Mischief in his attempt to burn the TVA to the ground. Kang could also be one of Loki's new formidable foes, which actor Tom Hiddleston previously teased to MTV News last year .

In Marvel Comics, Kang is a descendant of Reed Richards, better known as Mister Fantastic. Marvel Studios recently reclaimed the film rights to the Fantastic Four, Deadpool, the X-Men, and all of their related characters after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. One can't help but speculate if Kang's introduction in Loki is the first sign of the studio slowly starting to introduce Marvel's first family in the MCU.
